About Us

Mission Statement

AAROM is dedicated to preserve, advance and disseminate the knowledge about diagnosis and treatment of chronic musculoskeletal pain related to variety of connective tissue diathesis and degenerative or posttraumatic conditions treated with Regenerative Reparative modalities and specifically Regenerative Injection Therapy (RIT).

Our goals are:

  • To preserve, support, promote, defend and meld time proven knowledge with new discoveries and appropriate principles of practice and modalities in the treatment of chronic painful conditions of locomotive system.
  • To educate medical practitioners and patients suffering from chronic musculoskeletal pain.
  • To form alliances and communications with other organizations with similar goals.
  • To preserve promote and protect the ability of medical practitioners to deliver simple reliable and cost effective treatments to patients.
  • To support the formation of a specialty in Pain Medicine in such a way that regenerative reparative modalities to be included in the core curriculum of treatments.
  • To support, encourage, and participate in the development of appropriate and reasonable clinical guidelines and parameters with the understanding that not every spinal injection has to be done under fluoroscopic guidance and no one society owns pain.
  • To support and advance the use of local anesthetics in clinical diagnosis of musculoskeletal pain by any physician involved in musculoskeletal care whose license permits injections, with the clear understanding that local anesthetics and local anesthetic blocks are not the exclusive tools of the anesthesiologists or interventional pain physicians.
  • To support patients rights in requesting and receiving Regenerative Injection Therapy.
